Here are some simple step by step
instructions to show you how
to become a member of the
Uniting Kids Message Board.

When you first load the message board it will look like
the following picture. Click on the word Register
that the yellow arrows point towards.




The following page will then come up. This is where you
can fill in your details to register your user account.



The coloured arrows point to the different options.
I have filled in the registration above with my details,
to help you when creating yours.

Now let's create yours!!!!

Green Arrows
If you make a mistake and you want to start again click on Message board. This will take you back to the main screen.

If you want to go back to the Uniting Kids website,
click on Uniting Kids.



          "PROFILE" SECTION

Username:

Your username can be anything. It could be your first name,
a nick name or a name you made up. Type your username
in then click on the word "Available?"

If your username is free, a blue message telling you it is
available will appear beneath it. (It may be a little hard to see)



If the username is not free you will see a red message appear under the username section telling you it is already taken.
You will then have to choose a different username.




Password:

Pick a password that you will easily remember.
You will use it each time you log in to the message board.


Your Email:

Please check you have entered the right email address here
as this is how we confirm your registration so that you can
become a family member.


Your First Name:

Put your first name in this box


Country:

Enter the Country you live in.


Hobbies:

List the things you love to do.


Signature:

Here you can type in what you want to appear at the end of every post you make to the message board. For Example:

Talk soon
Steve


"PREFERENCES" SECTION



Please copy the settings used in the picture above. The only
thing you need to change is your Time Zone, depending on
what Country you are from. If you don't know what your
Time Zone is, don't worry, just put your nearest Country.

Even though there is an option to allow members to send
you email, it is not possible for anyone else to see your
email address or contact you through email.


           Submit

When you are finished, Click on the Submit button
After you hit "submit" the screen below will be displayed



You can click on [Back to message board] now to return to the message board to see that you are the newest member.


Check your Emails

You will receive an email asking you to confirm your Message board account. The email you will receive will look like this:



Click on "clicking here" in the email you received.
This will confirm your registration.


Begin Using The Message Board

Click on the "Talk With Friends" picture on
the Talk With Friends page of Uniting Kids.

Click "Login" (next to "Register")
Log in using your new username and password
